Program Assistant. Do you love people of all ages, education, entertainment and have great organizational skills? The Gail Borden Public Library is looking for a bright energetic program assistant with excellent English and Spanish communication skills. This part-time position will be responsible for working professionally as a library representative with performers/presenters for scheduling, agreements, equipment and running programs; as well as providing clerical support to the Hispanic Outreach Librarian and Director of Community Services and Program Development.
Individual in this position must become proficient with library's equipment and technology. Schedule varies according to program needs and includes evening and weekend hours.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or programming experience, preferably in libraries. Candidate must possess dynamic and engaging interpersonal skills. Written and verbal bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license is required.
25 hours per week; variable schedule.
Salary: $15.48 per hour. Includes pro-rated benefits.
