Information Services Library Clerk 

The Gail Borden Public Main Library has a part-time position available at the Public Information Desk in Information Services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting customers with booking study rooms, locating materials and resources on the second floor, data entry, promoting library services, and working with a team to provide excellent customer service. Individual must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good clerical and communication skills
  • Working knowldege of Microsoft Office
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Spanish language skills are a plus    


12-15 hours per week; includes day, evening, and rotating weekend hours. Schedule may vary from week to week. 


Hourly Rate: $12.65 per hour
