Computer Center Clerk

The Gail Borden Public Main Library has a part-time position available at the public Computer Center Desk in the Digital Services Department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with a team to provide excellent customer service
  • Assisting customers with logging into computers, accessing websites, and formatting documents
  • Assisting customers with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing
  • Preparing devices and the Computer Training Room for classes
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for library users
  • Data entry
  • Promoting library services


Other Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Good clerical and communication skills
  • Two years of hands-on experience using desktop/laptop computers, mobile devices, software, and apps
  • Must be a “people” person and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Spanish language skills are a plus

Part-Time:18 hours per week; schedule subject to change and may include day, evening, and weekend hours.

Hourly Rate: $15.00
