Map and Directions
 Entering Elgin from northwest Tollway (I-90) from either direction:
- Exit Toll way at Route 31 South.
- Stay on Route 31 (State Street) until Kimball Street (5th Stoplight).
- Turn left to cross bridge on Kimball. (Kimball is known as Lawrence Avenue on the west side of the river.)
- Cross bridge and turn left on North Grove Avenue (1st stoplight).
- The library is on your immediate left.
Entering Elgin from Route 20, from either direction:
- Approaching Elgin, take Rte 20 bypass (not Villa St. or Larkin Ave).
- Exit the bypass turning north on Route 31 (State Street)
- Continue on Route 31 until Kimball Street.
- Turn right to cross bridge on Kimball (Kimball is known as Lawrence on the west side of the river.)
- Cross bridge and turn left on North Grove Avenue (1st stoplight).
- The library is on your immediate left.
Entering Elgin on Route 58, from the east:
- Stay on Route 58 (Summit Street) until Dundee Avenue.
- Turn left on Dundee Avenue.
- Turn right on Kimball Avenue (1st stoplight).
- Turn right on North Grove avenue (3rd Stoplight)
- The library is on your immediate left.
