Gail Borden Public Library District card holders have access to thousands of movies, music CDs, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and television programs through Hoopla.

Once you use your library card to set up a Hoopla account online and download Hoopla's mobile app, you will be able to access any of the available titles from your smartphone, tablet and computer. You can borrow, instantly stream and download fabulous free content from anywhere!


Updating Your Hoopla PIN Number

1) Tap on My Hoopla  
2) Tap on Settings (gear)  
3) Tap Library Settings  
4) Enter your pin  
5) Tap Save Library Settings

Hoopla Apps

To stream or download Hoopla titles on a smartphone or tablet, you will need to download and install the free Hoopla Digital app, which works on Apple devices (iOS6 or higher) and Android devices (Android 4 or higher). It is possible to sign up for a Hoopla account using the the app.

On a computer, Hoopla is available for streaming only and requires an Internet connection.

To watch Hoopla movies through your browser, you will need to download and install the Widevine video player plug-in. This is a free add-on for your browser provided by Google.

If you do not already have Widevine installed when you attempt to play a video title in your web browser, you will see a notification that will direct you to the Widevine website.  From there you simply need to click on Install Now and follow the on–screen prompts.  The Widevine installation varies depending on the browser you are using.
