Great Books Discussion Series |
|
Have you ever wanted to read some of the world's greatest books of literature, philosophy, economics, political science, and psychology, but needed guidance to understand the content? Join the Gail Borden Public Library's Great Books Discussion Series.
- The group is open to adults and discusses books from the great works of literature.
- The group leader has had training in the "Shared Inquiry" method promoted by the Great Books Foundation. Responses are encouraged from all participants and all viewpoints are discussed.
- Meetings are the second Monday of the month from 6:55 p.m. to 8:55 p.m. at the Gail Borden Public Library. You may attend the discussion group without registering. Just join the group at any time.
- Books are either borrowed from the library or purchased through the group.
- There is no fee to join, other than the cost of the books if you decide to purchase them.
