Folk Singer Adam Miller July 7
On Tuesday, July 7 from 7 – 8 p.m., folksinger, storyteller and autoharp virtuoso Adam Miller will entertain with sing-along folksongs The Land Knows You’re There program about the environment and how people have related to natural resources through the centuries. His CD’s will be available for purchase.  All ages welcome. No registration required. Community Rooms.

Teens - Manga Mania - July 9
For teens entering grades 7 - 12 - On Thursday, July 9 from 2 – 3:30 p.m., Mr. Vaulato, a local artist and teacher, will show you basic manga techniques and how to draw your own characters. Drawing supplies will be provided. Please register.

Rain Barrels on Parade Kicked Off Earth Week at Gail Borden Public Library  (See photos)

46 barrels are parading in the community doing double-duty this summer, as painted works of art around town and as eco-friendly containers saving rainwater throughout the community.  For information on the location of the parading barrels, click "read more."  Visit here soon for rain barrel voting fun!  "Green" is very significant at the library as the "Join the Green Team" Summer Reading Program is in full swing and the library's first branch with many sustainable features opens later this summer.
