If you need to print from a mobile device, laptop, or home computer, you can print to any library location.

Print costs are $0.20 per page for black and white prints and $0.20 per page for color.

How It Works

2. Enter Your Information

  • A Guest Name or your Library Card Number (required). If you choose to use a Guest Name, make sure it is unique as you will need it to retrieve the print job.
  • An Email Address or Mobile Phone Number to receive a confirmation.
  • Select the location where you will pick up your prints.

3. Upload Your Files

Select the file(s) you’d like to print. We accept common formats like PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, images, and more.

4. Choose Your Print Settings

  • Paper Size: Standard options like letter (8.5x11) and Legal
  • Page Range: Print specific pages or the entire file
  • Copies: Choose how many copies you need
  • Color Options: Color or Grayscale
  • Layout: Portrait or Landscape
  • Duplex Printing: One-sided or Two-sided

5. Review & Submit

Once you've made your selections, hit Submit. You'll receive a confirmation email or text with details.

  • Prints at the Main Library can be retrieved in the library's Computer Center.
  • Prints at the Rakow Branch can be retrieved in the Rakow Branch's Computer Cafe.
  • Prints at the South Elgin Branch can be retrieved at the South Elgin Branch printers.

Printing from a Mobile Device

Print on the go with the Public Print Locations app. Access black & white and color printers from the Gail Borden Public Library, Main Building, Rakow Branch, or South Elgin Branch. No library card required.
