The Gail Borden Public Library District presents a masterclass with Romanian pianist Silvan Negruțiu. Internationally acclaimed pianist Silvan Negruţiu has performed concerts around the world, from the Kennedy Center in Washington DC to Ireland's National Concert Hall, the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He appeared as soloist with prestigious orchestras including the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra and Dublin Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Negruțiu is Assistant Professor of Piano and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Millikin University School of Music in Decatur, IL. |

Advanced and intermediate piano students may apply for the opportunity to perform in the masterclass by downloading the application form or by picking up a print copy at the library.
