Music lovers, read this. You have access to FREE music downloads! All you need is a Gail Borden Public Library card. You can now download music from the Sony Music catalog, a label umbrella that includes Arista, Columbia, Epic, Jive, Legacy, Provident, RCA, and Sony Music Latin imprints. The library subscribes to a service called Freegal, which allows you to download three mp3 tracks per week—for FREE!
Visit the library’s website anytime and get three songs per week! The songs are yours to keep. They never expire, there is no special software to install on your computer, and they will play on any mp3 player, iPod, or other portable device.
You’ll be able to download music from some of today’s most popular artists, including Adele, Ke$ha, the Glee Cast, Glasvegas, Mumford & Sons, Jason Aldean, Three Days Grace, Britney Spears, Pitbull, Broken Bells, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Chris Brown, and Mike Posner. Also available is music from classic artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Jimi Hendrix, Journey, Kansas, James Taylor, Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam, Sade, Bob Dylan, Barbra Streisand, Rod Stewart, and many, many more!

New Movies, Music, and Audiobooks
Your library provides a wide variety of new DVDs, music CDs, and books on CD every month. View our monthly list of new media. Printed lists of new titles may be viewed at the Movies, Music & More desk at the Main library. Staff is always willing to attempt to locate whatever you seek. Blu-ray Discs
Each Gail Borden library cardholder may check out one (1) Blu-ray Disc for 3 days, no renewal, no grace period. Extended use fees are $1/day.
Enjoy movies on your HD TV or computer's BD drive. Titles are available at the Main library and in the Rakow branch's MediaBank. Check back every week for the newest titles!
Blu-ray Discs, DVDs and Games at the Rakow Branch can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week outside the building via the MediaBank.
You can search and save movies online at media.gailborden.info. Once you have selected a movie online, you have 5 hours to bring your library card to the MediaBank and check it out before the title is made available to other customers. Questions? From your home computer browse, checkout, and download free audiobooks and e-books any time of the day or night with your Gail Borden library card.
The Gail Borden Public Library is part of the MyMediaMall consortium which provides library district residents access to downloadable e-books and audiobooks.
