VolunteersTeens entering grades 9-12 are invited to volunteer at the library in the Studio Volunteer Corps. We provide a variety of services for the library including pulling carts of books, making buttons for library events, preparing crafts for the Youth Department, and making the library a great place to be.

Please bring an ID, School IDs, Drivers License, or Library Card.

Volunteer at Home

Introducing, the Studio 270 Virtual Volunteering program! Teens in grades 9-12 can safely earn volunteer hours from home. Make greeting cards, write book reviews for the website, digitize for the Library of Congress, and more!

Here's how it works:

  1. Create an account on Beanstack and register for the Studio 270 Virtual Volunteering Program (Session 1).
  2. After completing the sign-up badge, pick an activity badge and follow the instructions given.
  3. Give back to the community and earn service hours.

Each activity badge is worth 1 hour of service, and each individual activity can be completed up to 5 times for a total of 45 hours!
