Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the library!

Volunteens are 6th-8th grade students who volunteer in Gail Borden Library's KidSpace. You'll volunteer with other teens, completing a variety of projects. Volunteer hours can be used to fulfill service commitments at school, church, or other organizations.

Please note that we do not have Volunteen events in May 2024. We will welcome Volunteens back to the library starting in June 2024.

For Summer 2024 (June & July), students who are entering 6th grade are welcome to volunteer in Volunteens. Additionally, students who are entering 9th grade are welcome to volunteer in Volunteens and/or Studio 270 Volunteer Corps (9-12 grade). For August 2024 onward, 9th grade students can volunteer solely in Studio 270 Volunteer Corps.

High-schoolers who wish to volunteer can join the Studio Volunteer Corps based out of Studio 270.
