Thank you for your interest in coming to Gail Borden Public Library for a school year visit!

Group visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. To request a time for a group visit, please complete and submit this form. You should receive a response within 3 business.

Please note that librarian-directed visits can be scheduled from September through April and are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

Due to demand, visits are limited to one visit per year.

If these days and times do not work for your group, teacher-directed tours through the youth area or self-led browsing visits may be scheduled at flexible times and provide opportunities for book selection and for room use.

Bilingual visit tours and storytimes are dependent on library staffing availability and must be requested in advance.

We encourage you to make book selection part of your visit. Students may bring their own cards, and/or books may be checked out on your teacher card.

To help us provide the best experience possible while you are here, please fill out all of the requested information completely.

If you have any questions about scheduling a library visit for your class please contact Jennifer Fuller at 847-289-5821 or jfuller@gailborden.info
