The Gail Borden Public Library Foundation raises funds to support the library. Those funds enable the library to go above and beyond to support literacy in an extraordinary fashion. The picture at left below represents the Dinos on Parade project that helped fund the GIANTS: African Dinosaurs, created by Project Exploration exhibit (picture at right below). The picture at center is one of the tiles installed on the beautiful tile mural at the Rakow Branch.

What is the Library Foundation?
The Foundation is a nonprofit organization which has established a permanent fund to improve library services to residents of the Gail Borden Public Library District. Tax-exempt donations may be used for long-term improvements to build the collection, enhance automated services, initiate innovative services or improve the facilities.
What Advantage is the Foundation to Library Donors?
Library donors appreciate the permanent nature of an endowment fund, and have confidence in a fund managed by a dedicated board of local citizens. A variety of giving opportunities offers unique tax advantages to you and your family, while benefiting the library as well.
Giving Opportunities
The Foundation Board would be happy to discuss the many opportunities for making a contribution, including outright gifts and memorials, trusts, bequests in wills, and annuities. Click here, Tax-Wise Giving, for more information on contributions to the foundation.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Medieval Feast for a Great Cause on Aug. 27. We had lots of fun - thanks to many including our Honorary King and Queen, Jack and Marlene Shales, and our merry band of pirates led by John Steffen and John Dalton. We also raised some needed funds for the Digital Learning Lab. Click here to see some photos from the night.
