What is the Library Foundation?
The Foundation is a nonprofit organization which has established a permanent fund to improve
library services to residents of the Gail Borden Public Library District. Tax-exempt donations
may be used for long-term improvements to build the collection, enhance automated services,
initiate innovative services or improve the facilities.
What Advantage is the Foundation to Library Donors?
Library donors appreciate the permanent nature of an endowment fund, and have confidence in
a fund managed by a dedicated board of local citizens. A variety of giving opportunities offers
unique tax advantages to you and your family, while benefiting the library as well.

Who Manages the Gail Borden Public Library Foundation?
The Library Foundation is guided by a ten-member Board of Directors. Four of the directors
are trustees of the Gail Borden Library and six are public members-at-large. Inquiries
regarding the Foundation may be made to the Gail Borden Public Library, or any of the
