A database of specialized reference sources and encyclopedias for research.  The Encyclopedia of American Religions is located in this database as well as other helpful resources.

Grolier:  Multimedia Encyclopedia
A database of general encyclopedic entries about art, architecture, music, writers and other topics.

Historical Chicago Tribune
The historical database of the Chicago Tribune newspaper.  A great primary source! 

 

Literature Resource Center
Biographical information, reviews, literary criticism and information on more than 130,000 different authors.

Smithsonian Global Sound
Interested in the various types of music found around the world and what they sound like?  Learn more about them using this database and even listen to sound clips!
