A Tapestry of Freedom spotlights the faces, expressions and histories of freedom. Its goal is to promote harmony, respect and unity among diverse ethnic, socio-economic and generational groups. This four-month endeavor begins in February and will bring people together to celebrate black history, women’s history, cultural diversity and preservation.

SPACE: Dare to Dream launched on June 2, 2007 at the library in conjunction with the Mission: Read summer reading program. Brought to us locally by the Grand Victoria Foundation, the exhibit was created in collaboration with NASA by Evergreen Exhibitions and national sponsors General Motors and Lockheed Martin.

GIANTS: African Dinosaurs, created by Project Exploration, is the first public exhibition of its kind featuring Africa's lost dinosaur world. This exhibit, designed by world-renowned paleontologist Dr. Paul Sereno and educator Gabrielle Lyon, highlights and brings to life some of the most important dinosaur discoveries of the last decade. |
