U-46's new superintendent, Dr.
José
Torres, is issuing an October library card challenge to students and staff in the district. Because of his strong belief in the importance of reading and using the library, he asked all area libraries to join him in a challenge - 100% library card ownership in all U-46 schools. And the prize? A pizza party for the students and staff at the school that has the highest percentage of library card ownership with Dr. Torres as the special guest. In addition, the school will receive $250 in books for their library. Click here for more details.
