Music Downloads

Music lovers, read this.  You have access to FREE music downloads! All you need is a library card.  Gail Borden Public Library District cardholders can download music from the Sony Music catalog, an umbrella of music labels that includes Arista, Columbia, Epic, Jive, Legacy, Provident, RCA, and Sony Music Latin imprints. 

The library subscribes to a service called Freegal, which allows you to download three mp3 tracks per week—for free! They never expire, there is no special software to install on your computer, and they will play on any mp3 player, iPod, or other portable device. 

You can download music from some of today’s most popular artists, including Adele, the Glee Cast, Cage the Elephant, Britney Spears, Pitbull, Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Pearl Jam, and many more!
