The Bookmobile is back on the road! We will be changing quite a bit about how we operate to ensure the safety of all involved. Some changes are:

  • Contactless service: Items can still be returned and checked out (including items on hold), but the doors to the bus will remain locked and Bookmobile Staff will be assisting visitors through the Bookmobile’s windows or in front of the vehicle.
  • The Gail Borden Library is now “Fines free”, meaning we no longer have overdue fines for books! 
  • Social distancing: If visitors are asked to wait while we assist others, we will have visual aids in place to help people maintain a safe distance while waiting in line.
  • All staff members will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment.
